Claudio Ricca has been a Lutemaker since 1985. He studied the technique to build the most famous Italian violins, in Cremona, the best school in italy.
He specialized in classic guitar making with Maestro Walter Leoni.
He cooperates with musicians either from Italy and abroad as well as collectors of arc instruments’ restoration and preservation. He also cooperates with Maestro Francesco Taranto for the restoration and revaluation of nineteenth century guitars’ (Guadagnini, Vinaccia, Fabbricatore and more).
His scientific training, let him to design a mute for cellos with variable weight (patent given up in 1990), a violin’s case and a mentoniera in a non-allergic material.
